Gabriel Venture Partners - Website Platform Conversion

PERSONE just finished a technology platform update for one of our long-term clients and Bay Area partners, Gabriel Venture Partners, which is an investor in technology focused companies in Silicon Valley.
We inherited the previous site which was setup in Drupal. However due to infrequent updates, the core grew outdated and stopped functioning. We had fixed this once before for the client in 2016 but, since then, both PHP and Drupal itself had evolved to the point that the site no longer functioned.
We were able to access the content, however, due to the limited horizon of potential use with simply reviving the existing, old Drupal site, the decision was made to rebuild the infrastructure with a more up-to-date setup using WordPress as the CMS technology platform. So, keeping with the same content and structure, we rebuilt the pages, setting up some new images to fill in the site where needed. We launched the new site in early August 2021.

Every1sMusic - Website Platform Conversion & Update

PERSONE just finished a technology platform update for one of our long-term clients and Bay Area partners, Every1sMusic, an offshoot project of The Larsonian Institute, focused on music makers and a related community of fans.
We designed the first Every1sMusic site with a Bootstrap infrastructure, which made it light and fast, as well as responsive. In this latest update, we've upgraded the base technology to a responsive WordPress CMS, enabling community interaction as well as guest editors and many more dynamic editing and community based features.
We expanded on the information and mixes, as well as promotional areas for each section of the site. Also, we expanded the Artists section, giving each current Artist their own unique page. We added a mailing list, and contact forms too, giving the site a way to grow and interact with its community.

Mystik Sound - Website Redesign & infrastructure Update

PERSONE just finished a website redesign and technology platform update for one of our long-term partner projects in commercial sound design and custom audio production, Mystik Sound.
We have supported Mystik Sound for years with custom flyer, CD or release visuals, promotional graphics as well as web support. Our previous site had been up for a long time and given the amount of renewed activity by Mystik Sound and their constant production, the time had come to give the site a necessary update.
Knowing we wanted to update the infrastructure to a WordPress install, we decided to build the site organically, in modules and sections. We also came up with standard info page designs and signup banners to use across the site. One of the key additions to this site over their previous site was the inclusion of an ecommerce store based on WooCommerce. Containing the artist's past catalog in multiple audio formats with responsive audio players, the new site is a very fully-featured site with lots of new audio for license or demo.
